Someone asked me if I'm happy about my weight and body And as I answer halfway through I realise I dont have my crippling self consciousness about my body that I had for years and I know with a certainty that my weight dont define me as a person
That was so freeing and made such impression on me that I've grown up without noticing! I am 64 now
Can you imagine where else I can now find out that I've outgrown my younger awkward self!
What a beautiful realization Elaine! I love that it surprised you in the middle of answering, that's such a quiet sign of real growth. I hope you keep discovering more places where your younger, worried self has made room for peace.
