Good morning! I'm happy to be among your cats for a little while. They are fabulous creatures, could watch them for hours. And I love your Motivational thoughts and Empowering questions. Let me answer your question first: I am most unlikely to wait until I feel ready. If it's about doing something that needs to be done, I am more likely to just plunge in to get it over and done with. Survived this far. You are right, confidence comes BECAUSE you started. 5 years ago I set up my first email. And started the painful process of learning to master the computer. And a cell phone. None of them familiar, I am on chimp level when it comes to tech stuff. Hubby was the tech guy. When he got dementia I HAD to take over. If I had waited until ready, I would never had been where I am now. Trial and errors. You learn while you go, just as your cats do. The crown of your motivational thoughts, David, I think is this: "confidence isn't the starting point – it's the outcome." It takes courage to start, it takes perseverance to continue, and it gives confidence as the outcome. With love, Maria
Thanks as always Maria! Your story shows that being brave doesn’t mean feeling ready, it means trying anyway, learning as you go, and stepping up with love when life needs you. I really great message! and reminder^_^
Appreciate the message. I have lost the full confidence I had when I was younger. So confident my actions many times were reckless but worked usually, thank goodness. I am 72 now with some mild memory deficits. This has really impacted my confidence and what I attempt. Thanks for the reminder that sometimes one needs to just leap! My heart went out to the very dirty and skinny baby kitty who was helped by the kind people. Absolute transformation. What a beauty underneath all the sludge of a horrible life! Blessed are those who help the furries in need.
Thank you for sharing this so openly Pamela! Losing confidence can be really hard, but your kindness, thoughtfulness, and courage are still clearly there, and the way you cared about that little kitten shows how much goodness you have inside!^_^
Just having fun!!!! 🤩
Thank you as always Peter!^_^
Thanks for all 🌸🌺
