Good, David, very good. I guess you are teaching yourself as well as teaching us. Here is a quote from the author Richard Bach's book" Illusions": "You teach best what you most need to learn". And here is another idea. There was a priest who was also a non-believer. But ultimately he got converted by his own good sermons.--- Learning never ends and sometimes reading something that confirms what you already know can feel very good too. Letting go of what doesn't serve you is definitely important, so that you can breathe. Love, Maria
This is really thoughtful! I think it's true that we often learn by teaching, and being reminded of things we already know can help us let go, breathe easier, and keep growing. Thanks Maria!^_^
I started the year working on the task of decluttering our home just a little each day. Soon, I noticed the quiet inspirational urge to declutter my own mind and spirit. So much so, I also am inspired to write about the spiritual journey of it too. But I truly enjoy how you post about these topics in such a fun and eye opening way. Glad to feel in resonance 😇🐈
This really means a lot! I think it's beautiful how tending to your space opened up a deeper inner journey, and I’m so glad my post was helpful in this regard. Thank you Angel!^_^
That’s such a warm and lovely way to put it! Both your words and your cat’s reminder capture how sometimes stepping away is just part of finding our way back. So true! Thanks Tom!^_^
Love this reframe around letting go! The distincition between giving up vs. choosing alignment is huge tbh. I had a porject last year that kept draining me but I felt guilty about stepping back. Realized later that cats have it right, they just redirect without all the mental baggage we add to it.
Totally! I think lots of us feel guilty about stepping back, but realizing that stopping something can be a healthy choice (and learning from cats, who just move on without guilt) is a really kind and smart realization. Thank you!^_^
While I really enjoy your posts, and often share them with a friend… I’m bothered by the bobcat video. That is a wild animal, not a pet, and those people should have turned it over to a wildlife rescue to be rehabilitated. Other than that, great advice as usual, and funny cat videos 😊
You’re welcome… and I know it wasn’t your bobcat! My concern is just that some people see videos where someone “rescued” a wild animal, and then they decide to do the same. It’s not fair to the animal, who needs to be in the wild…and even if it becomes domesticated, it’s “wild side instinct” can still come out, and it could harm the family pet, or even a human being (and then have to be euthanized). And once it becomes domesticated, then it can’t survive in the wild. That said, I really do enjoy your posts, and hysterically funny cat videos! 💕
I know Laura and I always really appreciate your feedback and commentary! You were right on point about the Bobcat. Thank you and hope you have a wonderful Sunday!^_^
I love your videos usually. Please don't show cats like the bobcat. They should be left alone. If they're in danger, call Fish and Wildlife to re-home them. We had one that lived on our property. We never bothered it. They're not pets.
Our seas are stormy as we close down a very stressful and sad week in our national landscape. Each scenario you have brought to my attention nudges that sense of being stuck in darkness toward a trail of light through small choices, creating room for smiles and hope. Thanks, David.
Thank you so much for sharing this Maureen! I feel amid so much heaviness, it means a lot to know these small reflections can offer even a glimmer of light, and I’m grateful to be walking that hopeful path with you!^_^
Its uncanny how these fun adaptive cats show us .. the right insight at the right time 👌😁
I agree Amy!^_^

I feel great when I see your post in my email box. Oh, it's like a seratonin fix lol!
Thank you as always Collen! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!^_^
What wise, life-affirming words and images. Well done, David.
My cat wanted me to mention: "Just because I walk away doesn't mean I WON'T come back. It's just an adjustment!"

Thank you Linda, I appreciate that!^_^

Yes, I think your right about the bobcat Laura and thank you!

Thank you Hannah for your feedback. I will keep that in mind when I select the videos moving forward!^_^
That's the feral cat is kinda doing!
I was getting some sun after being inside for these freezing days, and she was sunning on the rock by our oak trees.
She saw me and moved closer to me!
I moved closer to her, and we just absorbed the warmth ✨️ 😌 (the sun and the company).
I love your posts.
Thank you Jack!^_^
