All so true, David. My PennyCat rode around the room as a kitten, when I bent down and imitated a coffee table. Now, as she nears seven years old, Penny REMEMBERED. She was eye to eye with my on a 6-foot perch. She climbed onto my shoulders and we SLOWLY walked from room to room! She showed me how to solve the messy middle.
Wow, that’s such a sweet story! It’s amazing how they remember and grow with us, and it sounds like PennyCat really taught you a special kind of patience and teamwork. Thanks Tom!^_^
Great inspiration for me as I wait - not so patiently - for construction work to be done in my "totally disorganized" house. And - I absolutely love the big cats! Thank you and have a great Tuesday.
Thank you! I can definitely relate to the challenge of waiting for a house project to be finished, as it can feel like it takes forever when everything is out of place. I'm so happy you enjoyed the big cats too. Wishing you patience, progress, and a wonderful Tuesday Theresa!
Yeah, I think that’s pretty cool. Read somewhere that they also purr, chirp, yelp and generally have the demeanor of a very large house cat in captivity.^_^
But I hate to see them in captivity, unless it’s absolutely necessary for their survival. They are not alive to be pets! My little gray tabby Daphne, while clearly a domestic pet, owns me and I am her slave.
I completely get that - wild animals like cheetahs truly belong in nature, not as pets. And your story about Daphne made me smile - hehe, she clearly rules the household with love and charm!^_^
Your words always seem to come at the right time .. thank you
So happy to hear that Amy, thank you!^_^
much fun and good inspiration for daily gym
I hear you Romy, same here!^_^
